These dipped bananas are tasty, satisfying and perfect to have on hand for a planned indulgence. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants along with a host of other benefits but it’s the deep rich flavor you will love. The crunchy nuts and frozen center complete this power packed trio!
INGREDIENTS:
2 medium bananas peeled, quartered and frozen
1 cup dark chocolate chunks
1/3 cup chopped peanuts
Toothpicks
Line baking sheet with parchment paper, remove bananas from freezer and allow to defrost while you prepare chocolate.
Dump chocolate into microwaveable bowl and microwave for 30 seconds, check and stir. Repeat until chocolate is almost melted, remove from microwave. Stir until completely melted and glossy.
Put toothpick in center of banana and dip in chocolate, turning side to side to coat banana, then roll in peanuts. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Put dipped bananas in freezer for 30 minutes then transfer to a container to store in freezer until ready to EAT and ENJOY!!
**I had extra chocolate so I dumped the rest of the chopped nuts in, mixed and tada....dark chocolate peanut clusters. Store in refrigerator.
